Welcome to Krossfire Australian Shepherds. Krossfire is a small Houston Texas hobby kennel founded in 1990. We only produce a litter every couple of years.Our main focus is in Conformation and a little in Obedience, but we also dabble in Agility. My husband Joe supports me and I couldn't do it without him. Who else would take care of the critters while I am away showing on the weekends?

At Krossfire, we strive to produce mentally sound dogs with correct breed type and versatility, which are also beautiful, lifelong friends. Utmost attention is given to producing healthy, correct dogs that meet the ASCA breed standard. Breeding choices are carefully selected with research into pedigrees, keeping our bloodlines as free as possible of genetic health issues.

All puppies are born and raised in our home, and adult dogs are rotated between being in the house or out in large shaded dog yards with unlimited access to an air-conditioned building.

All puppies are sent to their new homes with up-to-date shots, initial eye exam, and full written guarantees. Companion puppies are sold with registration papers (marked "NOT FOR BREEDING") and are required to be neutered/spayed between 6 months and a year of age. As breeder, my contract also states that I will take back any Krossfire dog/puppy, at any age, for any reason.

Australian Shepherds make outstanding companions, but are not the breed for everyone or every home environment. Remember, owning a dog is a lifetime commitment. Also consider a rescue!
