Hi, my name is Joseph Henderson.  I have been creating digital art in tons of applications, and on various platforms since high school.

I have a strong traditional background in design and illustration, yet digital imagery has been my main focus for the past seven or eight years. This site contains many examples of my work, showcasing different styles and techniques. There is a broad history in the range of work here too. There is art produced during college, as well as imagery created just a few weeks ago.

My first image was a duplication of a Roger Rabbit image on a friend's TRS80, all in an IBM clone's 16 color glory.

And I went on for some time creating various things with a mouse, but was never quite happy with the results I was getting. And artwork seemed to take forever.

That is until one day in my third year of college, a professor turned me onto a job opportunity that opened up on campus. There I got to work with the most spectacular art program I had ever seen. Bundled with that software was my first digital art tablet that I mananged to buy— and still use today.

I was so happy! Then I really started getting creative since I wasn't forced to draw with a brick anymore!

Shortly after that, computer imagery began to rival work that I did without a computer. The sky was the limit.

Now, multimedia pieces created on a computer rival even the best photographs. So I've made it a point here to present an exhibition of artwork that promotes a combination of traditional studies and computer imagery.
